I don’t ever say I am going to do many things forever – and this is no different.
But around the holidays stress rises, emotions come forward you didn’t know you felt and things just generally seem heightened… am I right?
So this time of year I’m always like mmmmm I need to be calm, I need to not spiral (good or bad way) and I need to not end up in my feelings.
So this is why I think holidays is the perfect time to sober up and quit drinking for a while.
1. It helps with weight loss.
2. it keeps me out of my feelings and sane.
3. I just really want to see what my body does without alcohol in it for a few months.
I say this like I drink all the time – I have 2 margaritas at our local Mexican Restaurant once a week – but I want to see and make sure I can go without it and I can be healthy.
A month without alcohol can actually be really good for your body!
Let’s see what it does weekly!

I can’t wait to do it, to feel better and feel healthier and enjoy what it’s like not drinking for a bit.
I can do it and I want to do it.
So far it’s been 3 days lol but its better than 0!
