Pet Safe Plants

We went to Home Depot last weekend to get some plants – of course – and they had a sign for pet owners to show you what pet safe plants you can get at their store.
I was obsessed!

I try to get as many pet safe plants as possible but I know I do have some that aren’t safe for dogs if they get ahold of them.
So those are in different rooms or up super high where they could never get to them.
Believe me – I make sure to look before I put them anywhere near where my dogs could be.
I do not play when it comes to my babies.

Here are some of the pet safe plants I have at home!

Money Tree –
These beautifully green and sculptural houseplants are safe for pets, and also recommended for people with allergies and asthma.

Prayer Plant –
The Maranta Leuconeura, also known as the prayer plant, is a plant with a beautiful bright green and white design. These plants are non-toxic to both cats and dogs.

Twisted Lipstick Plant –
Lipstick Plant is safe for cats and dogs, should they give it a taste test, it’s perfect for keeping up high in a hanging planter in your home. Its dark green leaves grow long, spilling over the edge of the container, and tubular red flowers that resemble lipstick bloom at the ends.

Majesty Palm –
Majesty palms, also known as cat palms, are safe for pets and thrive in humidity with bright, indirect light, making them perfect for a tropical climate.

I love all of these plants – and they make my house feel so pretty and relaxing!

What pet safe plants do you have in your home? I need to know!

xoxo
