Happy 2022!

It’s officially 2022 folks and we’re excited for the new year!
It’s a rainy, gloomy day but hey – it’s a new year so we’ve got that to be excited about!

Benny is in the window, watching it rain and he’s relaxing on this Saturday and enjoying the rain sounds.
He always likes watching the rain – normally he’s SNOOZING but I guess after sleeping in he’s just fine watching it rain today.

Earlier this afternoon we watched the new Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts on HBOmax and let me tell you – it was amazingggggg.
I laughed, I cried, my heart felt full and happy all at the same time.
If you love the books and movies then you definitely need to watch it.
Yes – I cried – so you probably will too so just be prepared for that but it was totally worth it to bring in 2022 crying over HP memories, nostalgia and all your favorite characters.

Worth every teary second.

Benny and Cash pretty much snuggled me and slept through the whole thing but it was nice for when I was sobbing LOL!
Eric was watching too but not near as into it as I was.
I told everyone to sit down and be quiet for the hour and 45 minutes it was on and I would not accept anything else – and they listened.
I had to make sure I soaked in every second in silence.

Now we’re doing laundry and hanging out – we were going to go for a walk and start 2022 off with exercise and weight loss goals but since it’s pouring rain we won’t be doing that.
And our gym closes at noon on Saturdays so we didn’t get to go to the gym since we slept in and then immediately ate and watched the HP show.
Hey – gotta get that New Year sleep!

Tomorrow I’ll go to the gym and get in that first workout of the year – I am excited!
