A Few Favorites

I am not sure WHAT is happening but the last 3 books I read were not good (in my opinion) and I am not happy about it.
THREE IN A ROW?! What is this?!

So I thought I would take a look back at some of my FAVORITES because now I’m in a reading slump and don’t want to read any more in fear of good books not existing.

the drama.

Let’s start off with my favorite book of all time – The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky

I carry this book around in my purse – that’s how much I love it.
I also have another copy at home that doesn’t look terrifying from the wear and tear of carrying it around with me.
If you’re looking for a heartfelt book that will make you cry, then I recommend this one.
It’s fabulous.

Next up by on of my favorite authors, The One – John Marrs

This one had me HOOKED from the very beginning.
I was invested.
I wanted to know what was going to happen next.
I Did NOT want to put it down.
The twists just kept on coming with this book and I tell everyone who hasn’t read it that they should.
It’s soooooo good.

One of my FAVORITES of 2024 The Drowning Woman – Robyn Harding

I saw this book recommended a TON in a book group I am in on Facebook and when it finally came on Kindle Unlimited I read it.
And I read it in ONE DAY!!
I needed to know what was going to happen next – and of course, all my theories were incorrect.
Definitely check this one out if you’re looking for a fast-paced, twisted ride!

Here’s one that has always ended up on my list – Killers of a Certain Age by Deanna Raybourn

This book was funny and also really a cool concept!
It was a story you haven’t read before and it was a fun ride the whole way through!

Annnnnd one more for another favorite author – Survive the Night by Riley Sager

I have seen a lot of mixed reviews about this book – frankly, it seems they either strongly like it or strongly don’t.
I am on the like-it side.
While reading it I just kept thinking how it was cool a lot of the story took place in a car – you never see that.
I also thought dang, I would watch this movie! So if someone wants to make that happen I am here for it.
I really enjoyed this one!

If you want to see what else I’m reading you can always find me on Goodreads – https://www.goodreads.com/author/show/22248218.Ashli_Ferguson
I always make sure to review my books when I’m done!
