I’m Tired, But I’m Still Showing Up (And That Counts)

Lately, I’ve been tired.

Not just “I need a nap” tired…
but the kind of tired that sits in your brain, your body, your mood… everything.

The kind where even small things feel big.
Where your to-do list looks overwhelming before you even start.
Where you wish you could just pause life for a second and catch your breath.

And yet…

I’m still showing up.

💭 Not Every Day Feels Productive

Some days, I get a lot done.

Other days?

I answer a few emails.
Start something and don’t finish it.
Sit there longer than I should trying to find motivation.

And for a long time, I thought that meant I wasn’t doing enough.

But I’m starting to realize something important:

Not every day is meant to be high-energy, super productive, “get everything done” kind of day.

Some days are just about getting through.

☕ Showing Up Doesn’t Have to Look Perfect

Showing up might look like:

  • doing the bare minimum
  • taking longer than usual
  • needing more breaks
  • not feeling 100%

And that’s okay.

Because showing up isn’t about perfection.

It’s about consistency—even when it’s quiet, even when it’s messy.

🧠 Being Tired Doesn’t Mean You’re Failing

Let’s normalize this:

You can be tired… and still be doing a good job.
You can feel overwhelmed… and still be making progress.
You can move slower… and still be moving forward.

Being tired doesn’t cancel out your effort.

If anything, it proves how much you’ve been carrying.

🐾 The Little Things Still Count

Some days, the “wins” look small:

  • taking a break when you need it
  • drinking water (finally 😅)
  • finishing one thing
  • sitting with your pets and just breathing for a minute

But those things?

They matter more than we give them credit for.

💪 You’re Still Moving Forward

Even if it doesn’t feel like it.

Even if today looked slower than you wanted.

Even if you didn’t check everything off your list.

You still showed up.

And that counts.

More than you think.

🖤 Final Thoughts

If you’ve been feeling tired lately…

This is your reminder:

You don’t have to be perfect.
You don’t have to be at your best every single day.

You just have to keep showing up…
in whatever way you can.

And that?

That’s enough.
