Ever since our gym has been back open after a YEAR of being closed I have been so glad to be back.
It’s so fun, it’s big and has tons of things to do and just all around makes me happy to be back and active where I love to be.
We have started a new thing at our gym we never did before and that is playing pickleball!
It’s SO fun!
I don’t know that we’re really that good at it but it works out our whole bodies and it’s a fun way to workout so we do it 30 minutes, 5 days a week before we go and lift weights and love it!
It’s a blast!
What is Pickleball?
Pickleball is a paddleball sport that combines elements of badminton, table tennis, and tennis. Two or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball, much like a wiffle ball, with 26–40 round holes, over a net.
I wanna play right now just talking about it – but ya know, gym is closed since I am writing this at 11:00 PM on a Sunday.
But Monday it’s on.
Of course I love to shop online so I had to look up getting our own paddles and balls and GUESS WHAT?!
They sell sets – go figure.

It’s literally PERFECT for what we would need.
I am going to have to tell my husband – he’ll be so down I just know it.
We would look so cool bringing our own paddles – plus ya know, cut down on germs.
I’m so down for this lol.
I’ve also been needing some new gym shoes – and I’ve talked about previously that UA shoes are the only shoes that fit me right and work best for me so I stuck with what I know and I’ll be getting this pair soon!
I don’t know what it is about UA shoes but they fit me so right it’s unreal.
I’ll never wear another brand of tennis shoes ever again.
But it’s nice to be happy, getting myself healthy and finding something that works for me that I can share with you.
