Well Happy Monday (if you’re reading this on Monday!) and happy any other day to those of you reading this on a different day!
I hope whatever day it’s going well.
Since Bennys surgery on the 17th we’ve been getting by pretty well – I am actually shocked at how well things are going.
Which can be scary, right?
Things start to go well and you’re worried because how is this possible?
I’m just hoping it really is going well and there’s no hidden agenda.
Benny is actually doing really well and he’s actually enjoying his kennel!
We put his favorite bed in there and his favorite worm toy and he goes in there a lot to hang out and chill.
It’s cute.
My friend Katie told me about this soft kennel that she used and we got it for Benny and as you can see it’s working well!
So thankful for her telling us about it because it’s good and comfy and cheaper than the big metal kennels!

Saturday, the day after his surgery, we had a family reunion.
At first we weren’t sure we were going to go because we thought he was going to be hurting and down and we would need to be here for him but that really wasn’t the case.
He’s feeling good as it seems and we felt comfortable enough to kennel him and go hang out for a bit – which was great!
I can’t tell you how surprised we are that he’s doing as well as he is for it only being a few days after his surgery.

It was a good time and I’m glad we got to go!
Now on this Monday we’re still doing good!
Benny’s sleeping in the floor and Cash is on the couch watching him sleep.
He’s being a good little brother and making sure he’s okay.
It’s funny how dynamics change when things change for them and how they adjust.
