I love trying new things – and of course, I love me some chicken – so trying to make chicken in our new air fryer was the first thing I had to do.
We got a new air fryer on black Friday at Walmart and it has RACKS! I was so excited I couldn’t stand it…. so today I made dinner and it was GOOD!
So let’s talk recipes!

Air Fryer Chicken
What you need –
- Chicken Tenders, thawed
- Olive Oil or Vegetable Oil
- Panko bread crumbs. We used these – https://amzn.to/46wN0qI
- Hot sauce of your choosing. We use this – https://amzn.to/3uBpL1O
- Whatever side of your choosing!

This is the air fryer we have – https://amzn.to/49VF852 racks and doors makes it A LOT easier but you could do this with whatever air fryer you have too!
Instructions –
- Use two small plates – one to put your oil on and one to put your bread crumbs on.
- Dip the chicken (both sides) in the oil of your choosing.
- Dip the chicken (both sides) in the bread crumbs.
- Put the chicken on a plate or in a bowl just in a pile while you work.
- When your air fryer is read, align the chicken on the rack/in the basket with room between each piece so the air can get around on the sides.
- Cook the chicken at 425 for 30 minutes (or until cooked as you enjoy)
- Heat up the sauce of your choosing in a bowl and dip the chicken in the hot sauce (on both sides) and until covered.
- Serve and Enjoy!

We chose to eat ours with shells and cheese but you can use whatever side you want!
And whatever chicken you have left over feel free to save and enjoy later!
