Totality!

The Eclipse has passed and I was surprised how cool it was!
I was not expecting to think it was as cool as I did – but I have to say, I was impressed!

I work at a college and we had an Eclipse party here for students, faculty, and the public and we had a chunk of time off work/school to watch.
We’re all so glad we did!

We realized that you could put glasses on your phone and take pictures of the eclipse that way so of course I had to do that.

I took a lot of pictures – I was trying not to burn my eyes out as it happened but I did good. LOL I got the pics and my eyes were safe.

Right before totality, as it was getting darker, it was sooooo weird.
It was so gradual, and so odd, but so cool.
I’m not sure how to even explain it – but I know it was neat.

And then there was totality.

I kept making sure we could take our glasses off then – because I was like ARE WE SURE LOL but it was so neat to be able to take off your glasses and look around to see what it was like.
Definitely an incredible experience – and I was way more excited while it was happening than I thought I would be.
It was neat!

After the total solar eclipse on April 8, 2024, the next total solar eclipse that can be seen from the contiguous United States will be on Aug. 23, 2044.
So we’ve got a bit.

I hope you got to see the eclipse if that was something you wanted to do!
It was so cool!

xoxo
