Big Sky, Montana

A few years ago, we were supposed to go to Wyoming – but right before vacation, Eric got Covid, and we stayed home.
He was so bummed – that was the trip he had been waiting for, and he didn’t get to go.
Now, he finally got to go on his Snowboarding trip to Big Sky, Montana!
Whooooooo!

This was not my dream vacation, LOL. Ask anyone who knows me – I am not one for the cold… but I do love a good family vacation, so you can just guess that I did have a great time!

When we got there, we had to eat so we found some GREAT pizza and a big window to watch what was happening outside. It was a perfect way to start the trip.
Food and People Watching.

Up first we went on an Enchanted Walk through the forest at the resort – it was soooooo pretty and so fun.
Even when I sunk into the snow trying to get a picture by the pink-lighted trees.
I did think, at one point, I was going to pass away when we had to walk uphill, in the snow, on top of a mountain…. but I survived! LOL

The next day, we rode the ski lift up the mountain to a restaurant and had GREAT hot chocolate—I mean, DANG, it was so good. I don’t know how we didn’t go do that more just for the hot chocolate.
I wish I had it now.

The snowmobile riding was my favorite part—besides my husband whipping me around on the back of the snowmobile—it was so much fun, and the views were AMAZINGGGGGGG.
We rode up the mountain 15 miles and got out to see what the world up there looked like, and it was great! I would do that again for sure.

The last day we were there we *Tried* snowboarding.
Let me just say… it wasn’t for me!

He’s a snowboarding king!

I tried – got off the lift, and ZOOMED until I fell down. Then I said, well, this isn’t for me, so I am gonna bounce. The lift operator told me that they would not let me go back down on the lift… I could either snowboard down or stay up there forever, lol so I literally walked down the mountain, carrying my snowboard like a goober.
I refused to snowboard down because I knew I would break my face and every bone in my body if I attempted to snowboard down the mountain. LOL! I know my limits. Thankfully, this was Eric’s thing; he did it, did great, and enjoyed it.

It was a wild, cold, trip – but I definitely had a better time than I thought I would!
But now… I think it’s time for a beach trip! LOL

xoxo
