We love a good vacation – who doesn’t?
But we finally went on our Summer vacation – a few weeks ago so I am a little late LOL
…Better late that never, right?
So here we go!
This year we stayed in state and traveled to Lake of the Ozarks!
We decided to go to Margaritaville – which we usually love – and booked a week away!
A much needed week away!
Before that, we went up and stayed a night in STL so we could eat at Hooters, go to the aquarium, and relax for one more day.

I could eat Hooters wings every single day of my life and never get tired of it!

We built a bear (frog), toured the aquarium, and rode the Ferris wheel!
STL is always great… even if it’s less than 24 hours trip!
Then it was onto LOTO!

We relaxed, we ate, we swam.
Over and over again.
I fed all the ducks and geese outside of our room every morning and every night, so I am sure they miss me now that I am gone.
I miss them! LOL
The only downside was we were not aware the pools were free to everyone – you could just pull your boat up and come swim even if you were not a guest at the resort – so it got busy and packed FAST!!!
I think if we knew that beforehand we would not have booked to stay there – c’est la vie, right?

One day, we got to see some family with a lake house up there – so that was nice!
Relaxing, fun, and I always enjoy a good boat ride!

I didn’t get a lot of pictures because we were spending time together – but I did get this one of us cousins so, that’s a good one to have!
The LAST DAY/NIGHT we were supposed to be here it rained… and rained.. and rained some more.
So, we love a good adventure – and we decided to go to Branson and hang out there for the day and night!
And it was a blast!

We ate at the Guy Kitchen and Bar on the landing and LET ME TELL YOU this food was so good – I was soooooooo impressed!
I talked about it for days to come – we loved it!

We went to the Titanic Museum – which is one of my favorite places ever.
I survived and Eric did not.
I always say it is because they know how much I am obsessed with the Titanic and they let me live, but maybe it’s just luck!
Lastly, we did the Disney Immersive Experience and it was soooooo amazing!
Not so much to Eric, but it was still neat to see! LOL
I loved it – as a Disney fan!

So fun – all in all!
As usual, we did the Peak and the Pit! So here’s ours.
Eric –
Peak – Relaxing and golf
Pit – all the people at the pool
Ashli –
Peak – Relaxing and Titanic Museum
Pit – all the people at the pool
Easy enough!
until next time!
