Impromptu Self Care Day

Last Friday, I was in a particularly bad mood.
I have no idea why, but I woke up and was not having it.
I didn’t have my Botox appointment (I get a lip flip) until 12, but I was not ready to stay at home, so I turned it into a self-care day and went to get my nails done.
ASAP.

I am OBSESSED with them, and just looking at them makes me happy.
Typing is hard LOL, but you gotta sacrifice, I guess.
They did a fabulous job, and I was thrilled to look at them, especially in the sun.
They are gorgeous!

“Self-care is never a selfish act—it is simply good stewardship of the only gift I have, the gift I was put on earth to offer to others.”
—Parker Palmer

Sometimes doing small things, like getting your nails done, is important.
It helps, even if you don’t realize it.
Do whatever helps you; you are worth it.
