It took a whole 2+ years but one of us finally caught Covid…
and it wasn’t me!
Last Saturday we went out, had a good day and came home to chill and BAM my husband starts feeling horrible.
Body aches, fever of 101.7, headache…. feeling just like total crap.
Instantly I was like oh no… it’s happened!
It was too late to go get a home test but the next morning I got one from my grandma and sure enough – covid.
That was pretty much my reaction.
I knew that we were instantly quarantined and I was NOT prepared for a Covid situation – thankfully my grandma came in clutch and brought me everything we’d need.
Food, cleaning supplies, covid supplies and more.
We could not thank her enough.
Me and Benny slept on the couch all week and Cash flip flopped from being in the living room with me and in the bed with my husband.
I played a lot of video games, reorganized my bathroom, did a lot of laundry and dishes and surprisingly didn’t use the whole can of Lysol because I was for SURE I would have.
Eric slept a lot and chilled out in bed or the chair.
The dogs did whatever they do lol it was a lot.
Basically I was worried I’d get it but so far I have not – I keep telling Eric I must be better than him since he got it and I didn’t.
He doesn’t think it’s as funny as I do.
We watched A LOT of TV and we definitely can recommend shows if you need it.
- The Woman In The House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window
- Party Down
- Murderville
- rewatched Love is Blind
- newest episode of Peacemaker
- final episode of …And Just Like That
- the movie Countdown
- The Tinder Swindler
- first few episodes of Pam and Tommy
- and I watched most of Paris in Love
We recommend all of these shows/the one movie LOL
They’re good and they’re a great way to kill time.
At the end of the week we also started watching things out of our window LOL!
We saw a guy get stuck in the ditch and try to get out.
Exciting, right?
We needed freedom BIG TIME so once we got it we were out.
We just went to eat and went to Walmart – but hey – it wasn’t the house!
It’s nice to have Eric feeling better even if he isn’t 100% and it’s nice to know I didn’t have to get it and for both of us to be down and out.
Now – let’s never deal with this again.
xoxo
