Ahhh.
St. Louis.
A place I’ve been a million times but it’s always a good time.
I love it.
This weekend we had a PACKED weekend – but it was a TON of fun.
So let’s jump right in, shall we?

We got to STL and had to eat – and what better place to go than Hooters.

My favorite food is probably chicken wings – so… we have to.
Plus it’s a staple for us – if there’s a Hooter we go.
No questions asked. LOL
Then we walked around for 2 seconds before we started to sweat to death and thought “lets go see if we can check in early at the hotel” and thank goodness we could!
We needed some AC!

We stayed at the Angad Arts Hotel in downtown and it was AMAZING!!!
Our colored floor was Green – for rejuvenation – and it was so cool!
The bed was comfy and the art was amazing, and I wanted to take those eye pillows home with us but I didn’t! LOL
But if you are ever downtown and need a place to stay I definitely recommend.
Their breakfast was amazing and the rooftop bar was awesome.
10/10.
After we relaxed and cooled off it was time to go to Grants Farm for their Summer Nights festival they were doing.
Which meant animals, beer, live music, and a DRONE SHOW!!!
We were intrigued.

It was so fun – and I got to feed baby goats so what more could I ask for?
I COULD have posted the 294234 pictures of animals that I took but I thought one of me and the goats was plenty.
But their Summer Nights was so fun and if you are going I definitely recommend you go enjoy this festival.
The drones alone were amazing.
There were 150 drones and they did awesome designs in the sky – it was unlike anything I’d ever seen.
The next day we went to the Aquarium at Union Station.
One of my most favorite places to be.
I took a billion pictures of sharks – that I won’t bore you with – but you’ll see a few.
We walked around, we pet some starfish, jellyfish, sting rays, and more.
We had a great time!

After the aquarium, we went outside and rode the ferris wheel (that had air conditioning!) and went to eat at the Soda Fountain!
Eric bought so much candy LOL and we had a great morning/afternoon!

Then we went and relaxed… I took a nap… and it was almost time for the main reason we went to STL.
The Steve Martin and Martin Short show!
But… that’s a post for another day!
xoxo
