I had a long weekend.
and it was niiiiiccceeee,
I took off Friday to hang out with my aunt that is home from Switzerland and we had a girls day with my Stepmomma and Grandma.
We went out to eat and of COURSE I had to take her to Big Whiskey’s – it’s so freaking good!
Their Garlic Parm Chicken is DELICIOUS and I want to eat it every single day of my life.
Then of course we went shopping and spent too much money at Ulta and Marshalls – but how can you not?
Those are two great stores and they always take all of my money.
Then – my aunt got to duck her first Jeep and she was EXCITED! LOL
This picture is actually a candid of her running back to my jeep and giggling – but it turned out good!
And you can see the Jeep she ducked behind her.
Pure joy – if only we would have gotten ducked ourselves that day – her ducking Jeeps would have been complete.
Saturday my husband and I celebrated dog mom day – and it was such a nice day!
We went to Wings ETC for lunch and I got the buffalo mac and cheese.
It’s just so good I can’t pass it up!
And THEN we got to go to Yoders – which is one of my favorite places ever – to get plants and hang out in their green houses to wander for all the plants I don’t need.
It’s a Mennonite lawn and garden place and I absoutely love it – they take care of their stuff and it’s all reasonably priced.
It’s great.
So of course I stocked up there – I had to!
I got everything but the Snake plant there – I just had to repot him.
But I am obsessed with all of these and love how they make my home look so nice.
Then we got to go swimming and visit family to end the day.
Nice, but busy, Saturday!
Sunday was mothers day so of COURSE we had to go visit our mommas.
We went to Big Whiskey’s again – because we’re all addicted – with my Mom and Stepdad and I literally took pictures of nothing but food.
I don’t know what happened there LOL but that’s all I did.
This was a limited time appetizer they have and it was DELICIOUS but I didn’t eat a ton of it because I had that garlic parm chicken coming.
of course.
I MEAN LOOK HOW GOOD IT LOOKS!!!
I want to eat it now – this picture has my stomach rumbling and it’s only 10 AM.
Too bad it’s so far away.
Then we went to visit with Eric’s momma and got to see his brother and our nephews too!
It was a good day seeing everyone!
When we got home we had some work to do before we could relax though.
Our 12 foot skeleton had come in AND we had to put our rain barrel up – because of course I can only feed my plants rain water now.

and YES my rain barrel is sitting on a table with Ghostface painted on it.
Would you expect anything else from our home?
All in all we had a great weekend – and I definitely think we needed it!
