I feel like I’ve reached the age where sleeping wrong can ruin my entire day.
And honestly? Rude. 😂
For the longest time, I have been waking up with a sore neck and sore shoulders. It didn’t seem to matter how I slept or what I did. I’d wake up in the morning feeling like I had spent the night fighting for my life instead of literally just… sleeping.
So naturally, I did what I always do when I have a problem.
I went to Amazon. 😂
That’s where I found the Sidney Sleep Adjustable Curved Pillow, which is made specifically to support your neck and shoulders.
And after ONE NIGHT, I was impressed.

The First Night
The instructions recommend trying the pillow as it comes before you start adjusting the filling, so that’s exactly what I did.
I didn’t take any foam out.
I didn’t add any of the extra foam.
I didn’t mess with it at all.
I just put it on my bed and slept on it.
When I woke up the next morning, I immediately noticed something.
My neck didn’t hurt.
Neither did my shoulders.
EXCUSE ME?!
I am so used to waking up sore that I genuinely expected to feel it when I got out of bed. But I felt fine.
Apparently my pillow really may have been the problem this entire time. 😂
What Makes This Pillow Different?
One of the things I liked about this pillow when I ordered it was that it isn’t just a regular rectangle.
It has a curved shape that’s designed to fit around your shoulder and give your neck more support, especially if you’re a side or back sleeper.
But the really cool part is that it’s adjustable.
The pillow has shredded memory foam inside, and it also comes with extra filling. So if you try it and decide it’s too tall, you can remove some foam. If you want it taller or firmer, you can add more.
Basically, you can play around with it until you find whatever works best for you.
I haven’t needed to do that yet because, like I said, I used it exactly as it came and woke up feeling GREAT.
And if it ain’t broke, I’m not fixing it. 😂
Is It a Miracle Pillow?
Listen.
I’m not going to sit here and tell you that one pillow is going to magically fix every neck or shoulder problem because obviously everyone is different.
But I can tell you what happened to me.
I normally wake up with a sore neck and shoulders.
I slept on this pillow.
I woke up without the soreness.
That’s enough to make me VERY interested. 😂
I’m going to keep sleeping on it and see how I feel after using it longer, but my first impression is extremely good.
So Far, I’m a Fan
Finding the right pillow is weirdly difficult.
Some are too flat. Some are too fluffy. Some feel amazing when you first lie down and then somehow turn into a pancake at 2 a.m.
And then you wake up wondering why your neck feels 87 years old.
So the fact that I slept on this one for ONE NIGHT and woke up feeling noticeably better was enough for me to immediately think, Okay… we might have something here.
Plus, I really like knowing that if I eventually decide I want it a little softer, firmer, higher, or lower, I can adjust the amount of foam instead of buying another pillow.
For now, though?
I’m leaving that foam exactly where it is. 😂

I’ll definitely update this post if anything changes after I’ve slept on it longer, but after night one?
My neck and shoulders are VERY happy with my latest Amazon purchase. 😂
